Celtic ended a rather frustrating Champions League campaign as Real Madrid scored five goals to top Group F.

21 minutes in and already the Scottish Champions were 2-0 down as Luka Modric and Rodrygo scored two penalties awarded for handball, then came a third penalty this time for Celtic and Josip Juranovic missed it. However that all seems a distant memory as Marco Asensio, Vinicius Junior, and Federico Valverde all scored to make it 5-0, despite Jota netting a late free kick.

With such a bad defeat it is sure a player will get the blame and those on Twitter have firmly placed the blame on Aussie midfielder Aaron Mooy.

However, @CPHamill on Twitter, compares Mooy playing in China last year and now in the Champions League to a slice of cheese in a knife fight.
