Burnley, Crystal Palace and Sampdoria have all made enquires into the possibility of signing Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie.

The Serie A outfit are looking to rebuild after missing out on European football last season – and think Christie would be key to their plans. The Italian outfit also have a new boss Roberto D’Aversa.

Christie is out of his contract in January, and so they can get him on a pre-contract deal, especially as it seems likely that he will be unwilling to sign an extension and so it seems the case that Celtic will look to cash in.

Sampdoria also face competition for the midfielders signature by Burnley, Sean Dyce will be hoping to add him into his squad.

Celtic aren’t in a strong position here, and Postecoglou is probably already resigned to losing him to either Palace, Burnley or Sampdoria.
