Liverpool defender Ben Davies will snub new interest from Celtic as he is determined to make it at the Merseyside club.

Davies is yet to make an appearance for Liverpool since his switch from Preston for £1.6million in a surprise move.

With the return of, former Celt, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip alongside the new signing Ibrahima Konate, Davies playing chances have been cut.

Despite this though Davies remains committed to the Anfield side, even though Celtic are giving him a route out.

The Celts were wanting to sign him on loan for next season and were keen before he moved to Liverpool.

Celtic had even agreed a pre-contract with Davies before Liverpool swopped in with their shock move.

Klopp is not looking to get rid of him either this summer as he feels Davies needs more time to adapt much like Andy Robertson when he joined in 2017.
