Ajer to be fit for Celtic trip to Stockholm

Celtic gaffer, Neil Lennon, thinks Kristoffer Ajer will be fit enough to play against AIK, in Sweden, on Thursday.

The Norwegian defender, was in great form against Hearts even being compared to Cafu – by Neil McCann!

Lennon said: “Kris had a bit of cramp and he has a knee problem. He also has a shoulder injury. Apart from that, he is okay! He should be fine for Thursday.”

Meanwhile, Neil Lennon has revealed he hopes to sign three new players before the Glasgow derby.

Lennon said: “We need players in two or three positions. That’s been ongoing for quite a while.

“Hopefully we can get some quality bodies in on Monday or Tuesday.

“If we do, I’d like to take them to Sweden with us to integrate them with the group if they have an opportunity to play next weekend.”

One signing Neil Lennon, reportedly, has his eye on is Greg Taylor, but Killie manager Alessio says: “At the moment it’s only rumours.

“I don’t think the club has received any offers from Celtic.

“We have spoken to the club and the owner and we want to keep our best players.”
