Celtic must act if Stuart Armstrong goes out on loan

Former Celt, Stuart Armstrong is reportedly looking to go out on loan from Southampton.

The Sun reported that Stuart Armstrong may look to leave the Saints if he is not going to be a starter this season.

He played just 22 minutes against Liverpool on Saturday, and didn’t even appear on the bench against Burnley on the opening day.

If Southampton does let Stuart Armstrong go out on loan it would be surprise considering that he enjoyed a great first season at the Saints.

If it does happen Celtic would be landing a Premier League player on loan and Armstrong would be able to get the game time which he wants. But that is if the Saints are open to a loan to Celtic, a deal which Celtic can’t let pass by.
