Neil Lennon is keeping his cards close to his chest in regards to news about a goalkeeper – although he joked that there is talks of David De Gea.
With Scott Bain injured, that means Craig Gordon will be the only senior goalkeeper in the squad, and there are rumours that Fraser Forster could return.
Lennon said: “Scott’s dislocated his thumb, he’s had a scan and we don’t think he needs surgery so we’ll gauge that as we go along.
“There’s talk of David De Gea. I’m not going to talk about names. But we’re looking at areas to strengthen.
“We have to because we want that strength and depth for the rigours of the season.
“We might have to change targets now but in the main I think we’re on the same path – resale value in some and hopefully the right quality as well.”
