The Celtic captain is set to get a scan after he lasted only 20 minutes on his return after suffering a hamstring injury.
It’s very likely the Celtic star will be sitting out of Thursdays Europa League clash against RB Leipzig in Germany,
He also missed out on the 3-1 defeat to Salzburg earlier this month but hopes to be fit for the Betfred Cup semi-final against Hearts.
Speaking after the win against Hibs at Parkhead Rodger’s wasn’t full of hope of Brown making the clash against the Bundesliga outfit.
Rodgers said: “We won’t know for a couple of days, but he looked like he was struggling.
“Callum was brilliant though, absolutely tactically brilliant.
“There’s only one problem when you move Callum McGregor, you want Callum McGregor to be in the other position.
“He’s played three positions against Hibs, but he has the brain of a top-level performer.
“Tactically, he’s such a special player to work with and he’s got this unique quality for up here in Scotland.
“He keeps the ball, which at the top level you have to be able to do. He keeps the speed of the game going for us.”
