Celtic ‘seriously interested’ in Jordan Ayew

Celtic are ‘seriously interested’ in Jordan Ayew, as he is excepted to leave Swansea City after their relegation, according to his close friends.
And the Ghanaian international’s friend, Nana Oduro Sarfo, says Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers wants to bring Ayew to Celtic Park – however he faces competition from Liverpool.
He said: “Jordan has had offers from several clubs after Swansea City’s relegation last season.
“He will surely not play in the Championship with them.
“Liverpool have shown interest in him but Scottish side Celtic and their coach seem to be serious with their interest.
“I believe he may go to Scotland looking at how events are unfolding since they want to meet every demand.”
Ayew has played in England for the past three seasons, with two relegation’s with Aston Villa and now Swansea.
He did manage to finish as the Swans top scorer though and could be seen as a huge signing by Rodgers.
Celtic may have to look for other options if they fail to sign Odsonne Edouard.
