It’s devastating to see Dundee United staying down again this season, financially and for the great fans, that have always turned out in their numbers week in week out home or away.

I really hope these investors that are rumoured to be interested are going to put money in soon so that the squad can be rebuilt and all the new players get a chance to gel and get to know each other before the start of the season.

The playoffs were disappointing because it looked like Livingston wanted it more than United did like Livingston wanted it more on Thursday against Partick Thistle. Livi continually gets the basics right and have the desire to get and win every ball.

Its cup final time with the Scottish Cup, the FA Cup and the Champions League Final –
I hope Motherwell win the Scottish cup just to change it up a bit but if Celtic win I’m sure Motherwell will make them work hard for it, for the FA Cup down south, being a Chelsea fan I really want them to win but I think Mourinho’s Man United will get the better of Conte’s Chelsea.

As for the Champions League, I think Liverpool will win that in Kiev because they are too strong going forward and Real Madrid can be suspect defensively.

It’s also hard to believe it’s just been the 8 year anniversary of us winning the Scottish Cup,  I look back and remember that day, hour by hour, including me missing the easiest of headers after 12 minutes against Ross County.
